Do you workout with your menstrual cycle in mind?
It can be really useful tracking your cycles and noticing how you feel at each phase.
We are all different of course and listening to your body is key, but you may start to notice a difference if you push when the energy is there and back off when it’s not. Sounds so simple but how many times have you tried to do a workout/exercise and just not been able to put your finger on why you could do it easily last week and not today?
You may even see progress in your results by doing so.
If you have any pelvic floor symptoms it can also be the case that you may feel more symptomatic at certain points in your cycle which may also influence how you workout. Another reason why it’s useful to track.
There are plenty of menstrual cycle Apps out there or you could just use good old pen and paper.
